Your adventure begins as soon as you arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Here you can relax or depending on your arrival time, spend some time exploring before settling in for a good night’s sleep.

After a delicious breakfast, the first part of your journey will take you from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After being briefed by the ranger, you will drive to a place where the rhinos can be seen; the remaining distance to this area will be on foot. In most cases, you will be able to see the rhinos from very near, but always listen to the rangers! After rhino tracking and lunch, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park where you will have dinner and spend the night.
You will rise up early, enjoy breakfast and then take off in time to cross the bridge over the Nile. On the northern part of the Nile, you will start your game drive safari looking for wildlife. It is hard to predict which animal you will see first, will it be the elephant, lion, giraffe or the elusive leopard? In the afternoon, the game drive will conclude and you will head back to the ferry to cross back over the river to have lunch. After lunch, you will take a boatride on the mighty Nile to the world famous Murchison Falls where you will be dropped off to take a hike to the top of the falls. Here you will be picked up and taken to Murchison River Lodge where you will have dinner and your overnight stay.
Meals & Drinks:
The journey from Murchison Falls to Kibale is long but beautiful. The road meanders through the greenest hills you have ever seen with truly breathtaking views. After checking in at the lodge, you will have time to relax and prepare for your early morning hike to see the chimpanzees.
The tracking will start early and it takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimps. After the trek, you will go back to the resort for lunch and then visit Bigodi Swamp. This is a beautiful area in the rain forest with an abundance of animals: monkeys, birds and maybe forest elephants.
After this intensive day in the forest, you will go back to the lodge.
Meals & Drinks:
Queen Elizabeth National Park is your next destination. This is a huge park where wildlife and people coexist in harmony. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you will see very many different bird species and large mammals. After the boat ride, you will have a night at Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge.
The next morning, you will start the day early at 6.35 am. You will join the resident research team and join them for a unique lion tracking experience.
Meals & Drinks:
After a morning game drive in Ishasha it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Check in at Buhoma Gorilla Camp and prepare for yet another highlight of this amazing trip: tracking mountain gorillas!
Today starts early. First you will be briefed by the rangers, after which you will be appointed a group for tracking. The tracking can take several hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. The hike itself is spectacular and takes you through dense rain forest and up steep hills. Once you have found the gorillas you will get to spend one hour with them. Then it is time to go back to the lodge and share the experience with your friends!
Meals & Drinks:
The drive to Lake Mburo will take about 4 to 5 hours. After you have checked in at Eagle’s Nest, you will do an afternoon game drive.
In the evening, you can enjoy a drink at the campfire.
Lake Mburo is the smallest park in Uganda but is still full of charm! It has a very large number of zebras and a family of Rothschild’s giraffe. After a night at Rwakobo rock, you will go for a walking safari, where you will have the chance to get up close and personal with the wildlife.
In the morning, there is a guided safari walk planned. You can spend the afternoon at leisure or you can do an optional activity.
Meals & Drinks:
After breakfast, it is time to drive back to Entebbe via a stopover at the equator.
The majority of your day will be spent preparing for your journey back home. Depending on the time of your return flight, however, you may have some time to visit the Botanical Gardens or have a meal on the beach of Lake Victoria.
We hope you have enjoyed the journey!
